Tilbury Tattoo is one of the oldest studios in Essex, which is operating for the past 44 years with unparallel servicing. The shop was small to do piercing and keeping that space constraint in mind, the new studio evolved in December 11th 2004.
The studio is now four times bigger than the old, which has comfortable waiting room with relaxed atmosphere. While waiting, customer’s can view the collections of all styles of tattoos and can freeze before getting on to receive tattooing. The studio is done with stainless steel of high standards and completely air-conditioned. The new studio has received astonishing response from the customers and friends. It was even visited by “Total Tattoo”, which was recently started in the same block as the studio.
Separate place is available for piercing. Trish is handling piercing full time as the studio does not believe part time piercers and they are firm not to recruit jack of all trades as to owe top-class piercing to the customers. Studio also has different variety of jewelry for body piercing.
Tony B tainted as funny guy takes care of tattooing, who has 10 years of experience in this business but he first picked up tattoo machine way back in 1974. He has become a matured tattooist from a mere engraver by a fantastic coaching he has gone through.
Those days are gone that tattoo look like a bluish line done with six inch nail. So the first and foremost aim of the studio is to bring complete information to the customer on tattooing by that increase the expectations of them as on what new is available. This is mainly possible only because of the outstanding artists with award winning backgrounds.
Other than quality of tattooing hygiene part too concentrated and quality standards are followed by the studio. Always carry ID cards as it might be asked for when you are at the studio. Please fix an appointment to avoid waiting for a long time.

Tattoo UK was established by Alan Dean on 1st June, 2000 when his marathon attempt to open a tattoo shop materialized. Alan connection with tattoo has started very early age watching his uncle involving in tattooing in the kitchen. Alan’s tattoo interest increased after he accompanied his uncle to see tattoo greats of those days Ronny Akers, Jack Zeek and George Bone. These tattoo players has influenced Alan to maintain Tattoo UK in the way it is now.
Alan Dean was working in his uncle shop in 1980s and joined tattoo club of Japan for the first time. When the world famous Dave Diamond, a close friend went for an heart operation, Alan Dean helped his son Dale to run the studio and later on started his own studio Tattoo UK.
Terry and Amanda are other artists in Tattoo UK. Terry was proud to work with this studio with Alan Dean’s guidance. Terry’s flexibility and un-learning quality fetched him a job in Tattoo UK. He is ready push things hard to get what customer wants. Amanda has done art G.C.S.E and A level at school and was interested in art in skin as long as she could remember. She enjoys working with walk-in customers and passionate in creating custom pieces.
